Vegan Diet ? 


K and I have read a couple of books, watched a DVD and have decided to try to eat more Vegatables. Fork over Knife and A Challenging Second Opinion are both excellent books, available as ebooks also on Amazon. 

Dr. John McDougall (ACSO,above) gives great “alternate” treatments and explanations for varions diseases. Basiclly, he recomments taking all nutrition from plant-based sources, not animal-based (all meat, dairy, fish), avoiding as well eggs and all oils. Whoa! If you do this, all your troubles will be over, or the medically approved equivalent language. 

So, we’re trying some of it. Blood pressure down some, blood sugar down as well, and insulin dosage decreased accordingly. 

We’re getting better at creating edible things from Fresh Vegetables - beans, rice, the lot. Fun fun, I think. Squash soup, almond butter, etc.
