Out here at the end of the supply chain, the produce is pretty thin. I asked the checkout lady at the local outlet of a regional grocery here in town, on what day does their truck comes in..she replied:

"We get just one truck a week, it comes on Weds...and Saturday. ..then the dry truck comes on Friday"
